The hardest thing to teach my son is the skills he will need for the life to come. I want him to be awesome at reading, math and at sports but all that is wasted if his goals in life are selfish. I want him to learn to be a servant and for him to chase the approval of Jesus. I know it’s going to be tempting for him to chase recognition when he sees his friends win awards at school but I want him to know that earthly glory is fading. That’s the one thing my parents couldn’t teach me because we never read the Bible in our home. Our family needs to make sure we get the most important thing right, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. This Sunday I will be speaking at Harvest SD again! Hope to see you at 9:30am for a message about living by faith where I expand on this subject!
